This mural painting is based on my memorable visit to “The Louvre Museum” in Paris, France. During my visit, I tried exploring as much as possible I can in a limited time to understand sculptures and antiques from ancient histories between 5th to 19th centuries. After my visit, I was always restless whenever I think about what a precious memories in my mind and I should do something with it. This composition is the result of overall restlessness. I have referred the photographs to compose this artwork from outside-to-inside view of the museum. The sculptures in a central frame highlights the views inside museum and the topmost portion with triangle highlights the Louvre pyramid, which is visible from outside of museum. The medium to prepare this artwork is mainly “Foam board (Styrofoam)” and “Acrylic paints”. Major carving on foam board is done using metal blade, and hot iron is used to add depth and dimensions to the sculptures. My main goal behind preparing this mural painting is to give viewers a feel of sculptures and presence inside Louvre Museum.
